This year Ukraine will start mass production of jet systems of volley fire (MLRS) “Alder”. This is an upgraded version of the “Tornado” of the Soviet period. This missile system is equipped with a homing system and strikes the target at a distance of 120 km. this was reported by Director of information and consulting company Defense Express Serhiy Zgurets, reports “Today”.
“Alder” is one of the samples of precision weapons, which was developed in a relatively short time. High-precision because it is capable of hitting targets with a guaranteed accuracy above 50%.
“I think this year we will receive a certain number of modernized systems “Smerch” with the opportunities provided by new development,” explains the expert.
Compared to the Soviet “Smerch”, Ukrainian “Alder” will receive the automated control systems and new high-precision missiles.
“Now each rocket has a purpose, and at the distance of 70 km can destroy a target not an area like the old “Twister” and point of contact. The second key difference is that an automated system that allows you to assign each missile its purpose.”
Zgurets said that also the “Alder” will receive high-precision jet system of volley fire.
“In front of the missiles located 92 small motors that adjust the flight of the rocket. “Alder” is a new piece of armament,” – said the expert.
We will remind, earlier it was noted that the occupiers went berserk and do not spare ammunition, injuring a Ukrainian hero.
As reported by the portal “Know.ia” Ukrainian heroes showed how to survive in the severe frosts: on the wall of a Trident with streamers, and only the heat from the stove.
