Yum: delicate coconut cake with sour cream

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

Cooking time: 4 hours

3 cups flour

4 eggs

2.5 cups sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

4 tbsp. butter

300 g coconut flakes

900 g cream


1. For the cake, mix the flour and baking powder. Whisk eggs 1.5 cups of sugar and pour them in the flour. Mix well and put in refrigerator for 3 hours.

2. After 3 hours, pour the dough in the butter and knead thoroughly, then divide into 5-6 pieces and put into the fridge.

3. One part roll out into a thin layer with a minimum thickness of 5 mm. Bake it in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Do the same thing with other parts. If the layers are thin, they dry out.

4. To make the cream, combine the sour cream and sugar with vanilla. Whisk, then add coconut.

5. Each Korzh grease cream. Then pour the whole cake with cream, sprinkle top with coconut shavings. Leave in the fridge for 3 hours.
